If you don’t think you’ve seen a flash-mob yet… then you haven’t! It’s complicated to explain the beauty of them but we are going to try anyway.
Flash mobs have been popping up all over the world recently with the sole aim of making people laugh, smile and wonder “what the heck is going on?”! A group of people (pre-arranged) meet up in a public place and randomly perform an unusual and sometimes seemingly pointless act for a brief time… they then walk off as abruptly as they started as though nothing has happened.
Although flash mobs have been around since 2003, the concept has picked up recently and has started showing up around Beirut as well, with the sole aim of spreading joy, happiness and laughter (something Beirut always welcomes)!
‘Improv Beirut’, was created in September of this year and the team is working on their latest event, the ‘Audio Experience’! Feel the thrill of being part of something for no reason this December for 20 minutes. You’ll be playing with umbrellas, making strangers smile, and basically spreading good vibes and good fun around Beirut!
