Our Spotlight section features interviews with some of the city’s most talented citizens - from DJs and Rock Guitarists, to Chefs and Entrepreneurs - as well as exciting news about what’s going on in the Beirut scene – from events, to new NGOs, the opening of a new restaurant or just a moving campaign going around the city.

Facebook Connect is an application that allows you to sign-up/log-in to ScoopCity as a member without entering all of your details. Just one click and you are in!
Facebook Connect does not grant ScoopCity access to your Facebook account, nor does it provide us with your personal details other than the ones required for basic memberships, it merely facilitates the membership process and posts on your wall things that you "like" on ScoopCity.
Please note, that once you join ScoopCity through Facebook connect, you must always log-on through Facebook. Your Facebook page does not have to be open, but Facebook Connect will not work if Facebook has been blocked from the servers of your offices/homes/network. This means you will have to sign up the traditional way.
Note: If you have used Facebook connect at home and are at work where Facebook is blocked you will need to sign up using an email that is different than the one you have linked with Facebook. When in doubt always sign up the traditional way!
Extremely. Your credit/debit card number is transmitted by SSL directly to a secure electronic vault. Your credit card information is NEVER stored on our servers.
To ensure maximum security all Debit Cards and Credit Card transactions are paid online using Bank Audi's trusted E-Payment gateway and NOT on ScoopCity's website.
You will be redirected to Bank Audi's gateway to finalize purchase(s) then re-directed to ScoopCity once the transaction has been completed.
ScoopCity does not have access to, or store, your Card details.
Some cards in Lebanon cannot be used to make online purchases. But rest assured it has nothing to do with ScoopCity and as soon as this is resolved we'll be featuring it in our 'news' section.
Try buying your Scoop with another card, or alternatively, you can get prepaid cards specially made for online shopping.

If you don't have a credit card, there are 3 other ways to purchase on ScoopCity:
1 - ScoopCity allows its ScoopCitizens to pass by our offices (located in Hamra, Makdessi street, Arab Bank building, 4th floor) and pay in cash between the hours of 10am and 7pm (please make sure to call our offices first)!
We will then buy the Scoop on your behalf!
2 - You can pay online using the 'Cash On Delivery' method - put in all the information for LibanPost to pass by and pick up the cash from you. This will cost you $3 extra for the pick-up and you'll receive your voucher in your email up to 4 working days post payment date.
3 - Alternatively, you can pass by and ask us to add ‘credit’ to your account with a specific amount, which can be used to buy Scoops at any point.
Save. Print. Use.
Once you receive your voucher, print it and take it with you to enjoy the experience. If the Scoop bought is an activity, please provide your voucher upon arrival. However, if you purchased a meal, you can place your vouchers as a payment towards your bill.
1. Make sure to check your SPAM Mail, and add us to your email safe list to ensure that you always receive emails from ScoopCity.
Please keep in mind that you will receive your voucher within 15 minutes of purchasing a deal. Should you not receive anything from ScoopCity.com after successfully purchasing online we’ll readily look into any issues you have. Simply send an email to info@scoopcity.com, or call us on 01-749-438 weekdays between 10am-7pm.
2. When purchasing on ScoopCity it is important, after being directed to the Bank Audi payment gateway, not to refresh the page until you return to our homepage and see the “Transaction successful” message. There are a couple reasons that you may not be redirected to the result page:
a. The connection timed out before Bank Audio redirected the browser to our website after a successful order
b. The browser was closed preventing it from being redirected to our website after a successful order at Bank Audi
c. An internet/electricity cut can also be the cause of the browser timing out/closing before being re-directed successfully back to ScoopCity.com
Each deal featured has a different validity period.
Usually, our offers are valid for up to 3 months, but all details regarding the specifications and validity will be clearly noted in the ‘terms and conditions’ of the deal both on the website and your voucher.
Vouchers are sent out as soon as the Scoop goes offline and the exact dates will be specified on the voucher itself.

Should you want to buy it in your friend’s name, just click on “Buy it for a friend”, and fill in the form.
This is up to the discretion of our Partners. Unless specified otherwise, vouchers are only to be used in the name of the purchaser.
You can avoid this by simply buying it for a friend!
Not possible! This will never happen unless the voucher has reached its expiration date.
How nice that you received a gift!
If your friend bought you a voucher, you will receive the actual voucher within 15 minutes of him/her purchasing the deal. The voucher's email will include all the terms and conditions for this deal.
Simply, read the terms and conditions carefully, print the voucher, and head on down to the outlet to redeem your gift.
